Memory Verse:
18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
If, day by day, we gaze upon the glory of the Lord, meditate upon his character, then his character and his glory come part of our life.
Jesus had unique perfection, singleness of mind about the will of God, His vocation, His purpose, His mission. Jesus had singleness of mind about nature and the response in man to the will of God. “when faith is present, the power of the Spirit within the believer will reveal the Lord’s glory and advance His Kingdom.
The eyes of the believer must be trained to see clearly the glory of this vision, Jesus desires us to reflect, the mind trained to thick habitually thoughts that impact our passions and behaviour. Thus, in time, we will unconsciously call upon the power of the Spirit as the source of strength and inspiration to us.
God Himself is our source of Joy. We must rejoice
“While Jesus was “a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief” He was also “anointed with the oil of gladness above thy fellows” (Heb1:9) “He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore He lift up the head” Psalm 110:7. This deep and abiding joy in God appropriated by drinking from the spring of living water

Let us resolutely leave in our Father’s loving care all our daily physical, mental, emotional burdens, entering gladly into His rest. Then we are free to rejoice in His revelation of strength for the day.
God Himself is our Life. We must declare
“Whosever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Rev 22:17) God is not only the original Creator, but also the continuous Creator. “In Him we live, and move and have our being.” As surely as we breathe, so surely we know God’s power is present. It is the same power that makes the heart beat, that brings healing to the mortal body. Life is associated with God. This life can become distorted, week and old. But the source of life never changes, the stream of Life through us is always the same.

Faith always thinks of ourself in relationship with God, not because of “works” or “deservedness” but because of “substitution”. The complete surrender of life. “My life for your Life”. I substitute the mortal for the divine.
Declare with me.
“Life, life, I have the fullness of Life, because God is Life and God dwelleth in me”.
God Himself is our Power. We must act in the Holy Spirit
Power in its entirety is in the Being of God; and He dwells in us. We can draw on Him at any moment for the full measure we need to act to obey His great commission. We are to be channels of God’s power. We are called upon to let flow out that which He pours in. When we work in human effort alone, we shut off God’s power. It is in our nature to become exhausted and physically strained, that we might learn to wait upon the Lord and act with Him.

Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the whole person. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures as privileges for the Church in this present age and a primary activity of Christian witness. This healing is appropriated through: 1. Seeking God. 2 Repentance from sin. 3. Prayers of deliverance including anointing with oil. 4. Approaching physicians. 5.Waiting on the Lord in faith including declaration of scripture and the laying on of hands. Transformation occurs as we rejoice, declare and act in the Holy Spirit.
